The Final Tour on Sky Arts/HD now!!

Just been watching The Shadows 'The Final Tour' - now on Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 1 HD.

Flicking between the two, even I can see the difference between HD and standard. It seems to SOUND better too - although that may just be my imagination!! Great stuff. Won't need to buy the Blu-ray now!!!

I watched a bit of this and the picture quality seemed clearer than my DVD copy.

Yup, I watched it too. Even though I've probably seen it over a hundred times, I still find it enjoyable!

Yeah, it was a nice surprise - I didn't even know it was on until seeing it in the TV magazine just five minutes after it had started! It looked and sounded better than the DVD and was probably my first taste of the Shads in HD. Nice to see a major broadcaster giving them three hours of their schedule.

I have both the DVD and Blu Ray, image is clearly better on the Blu Ray, but not the sound (using a good Hi-Fi system with KEF speakers).

Chris, you may or may not know, but it has been on Sky Arts quite a few times of recent. Friends/family have even called me at various times to let me know when it's on/it's on now etc..
They must think I'm a Shadows fan, or something!

Yeah, I knew it had been on a couple of times before, but I don't normally get the chance to watch any satellite or cable TV - least of all in HD. But this weekend I am - and making the most of it...
