We really enjoyed the show from Quiff & The Shades in Sidcup. With a special appreciation to Roger Cook on his first gig with The Shades.

Looking forward to The Shades appearance at the Surrey Shadows Club meeting on the 15th August.

Can I ask what the 60s Tribute thing entailed exactly? I mean, although The Shads transcend the decade (Cliff too, now I come to think of it), I can't really see/hear what you would add to it.... Anthony Newley popping a weasel with a spudgun? :^)

We replicate the early years of Cliff Richard & The Shadows, plus a selection of popular 1950/60s songs that Cliff & The Shads would have performed in their live concerts.
Remember, in the early 60s they didn't have a vast catalogue of hits. So we include a couple of Buddy Holly songs and numbers such as Blue Suede Shoes and C'Mon Everybody, which they may well have had to include.
