My brother in law had a Silver Series Squier Strat and an early 90's American strat with the new style 2 point tremelo and I played both back then and the one I really liked was the Squier ... seemed a great quality buy with the right vintage sounds

Thanks once again for all your comments. For those who have dealt with MIJ in Edinburgh, how did you go about buying one as I can't seem to get much info from the man himself except to keep ringing back to see if he has them in stock. The website constantly advertises them even when they're not in stock!
