"Absolutely Essential" here seems to mean "All the Shadows tracks we can use without needing to license them from Parlophone".

I'm rather looking forward to the follow-up to "The Early Years 1959-1966" on Parlophone Records: "The Later EMI Years 1967-1980", containing the remainder of The Shadows' EMI recorded output, with added mono mixes, hitherto unreleased on CD.
