Concert pix?

Were people searched and or prevented from taking pix during the concert with anything other than a cell fone?

No searches at Wembley. I got stills and video from a camera measuring 100mm x 50mm x 40mm.

Funny thing...

I was standing next to Ray as we went into Wembley. I was asked if I had a camera (I didn't...) but he wasn't. Maybe I just looked suspicious?

Could it have been the sporran you were wearing?

As a favour, on one occasion I managed to record a set at the Albert Hall for a friend (who was playing) using a Sony VX2000 video camera (350mm x 120mm x 140mm). I obviously don't look like a camera-using sort of person. Is this a good thing or not?

I got quite a few at the glasgow show using a Nikon slr with 200mm lens.
Just had it under my jacket.
However, I did notice, at the break, quite a few people wandering around with mini slrs openly on show (over shoulders..around necks etc.) without being challenged.
But then again, attitudes might vary with venue.

No problems at the Cologne concert, too.

In both The O2 and Copenhagen it was allowed to take pictures but no video.

My pics can be seen here: http://cid-ab9332ecc45b83e1.skydrive.li ... ?ct=photos
Not as good as I could wish, but better than nothing ;)

Quite a collection of nice pix, Kitty.
2 questions: what kind of cam did you use and what would u estimate the crowd size?

I used a Canon Ixus 950is 8M pixel. I sat about 50-60 meters away. Perhaps a bit more far away at The O2.
AT The O2 one of the security men told me, that there were 15.300 spectators. In Forum, Copenhagen about 8.500.
At the encore almost everybody stood up and sang together with Cliff. It was amazing. :D
