Cliff Richard live CD+DVD

It looks to me, at a casual glance, that most of the songs are from the period 1958-1963. So does this mean that this is actually Cliff Richard AND THE SHADOWS ???

The photo on the cover looks to be from around 1980, but of course this doesn't necessarily reflect the content!

CD & DVD worth getting at that money. Not heard of it before. Must be a compilation of concerts over the years would have thought

I'm guessing that disc 4 must be the DVD? The amazon page, although it gives full track listings for each CD , doesn't indicate any more than that. Oh well, maybe we'll have to buy it to find out?! Might be worth it at only eight quid...

The 3 CDs are identical to this set which was recently released by ZYX Music:

I think it quite likely that they repackaged the DVD as released in May last year with the three audio CDs.

It features a concert of Cliff from 1972 (I think) in Berlin and which was broadcasted from the German TV. Included are bits and pieces from the rehearsal, Cliff visiting the town etc.

Thanks. Looks like it.

So calling the package 'Live in Concert' is a bit of a misnomer, as it's mostly three CDs-worth of studio recordings (from the looks of it)! A bit of a cheek!

Still, it looks like the Shads will be on the majority of the CD tracks and the early '70s German concert does sound like it'll be worth seeing, so probably worth eight quid.

Go to the 18:30 mark for some very familiar footage (to anyone who has seen 'Thank You Very Much') and a very, very unusual, dare I say unique, version of 'Move it'. Hank's solo is different! In fact, the whole thing sounds different! It appears to be performed live!
