Surrey Shadows Club Guitar Raffle Drawn by Bruce Welch

Hi Folks,

We were absolutely delighted that Bruce Welch was on hand last night at our Big Event to draw the winning Raffle Ticket for the Signed Burns Marvin Signature Guitar. The winning ticket belongs to Bill Paterson from Farnborough in Hampshire, who bought his tickets at the "In Celebration of The Shadows" event at Lakeside last September.

Bill was shocked to receive our text of congratulations last night and was quickly around this afternoon to collect his prize, as shown the photographs below.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Guitar Raffle in aid of the Jet Harris Memorial Fund.

Hi Everyone

On behalf of the Jet Harris Memorial Fund, I’d like add our thanks to Bob and the management team of the Surrey Shadows Club for all their hard work in raising this fantastic amount! Our thanks also to all the Club members and to everyone who supported the raffle, including Barry Gibson for providing the Burns Marvin Signature Guitar and Austin at Lakeside Country Club for kindly giving permission for the raffle tickets to be sold at the “In Celebration of The Shadows” event. It was great to hear that Bruce was on hand to draw the winning ticket on the Club night! We really appreciate the help and support that all of you have given to the Fund in memory of Jet. Thank you and well done!!
