Hi Jim,

I fully agree with you that the signatures on the back of the postcard will most likely not belong to the pictured team. It will probably be a picture of the previous year's team. My idea was that a few of the players might have played on both occasions.
Regarding Jerry Lordan, I thought that (17) might be him, but I have to agree that it is Roy Castle.

I think hat 17 is Antony Newly and 16 is Roy Castle. :idea:

With ref to no 3 on the picture
it may be Derek franklin (Bass Player with The hedley ward trio)
he was married to Beryl Reid as stated by Jess conrad
i also notice there is a signiture which reads "The Hedley ward trio"
