Waffels has every right to be angry.
[b]What constitutes a session musician:
A session musician, by definition is one who is hired for a session. This could be as an additional sound, or as a replacement for a missing member. This can be for a single recording, a recording session or individual performance.
Beyond this, say for an extended tour, or series of records or recordings. They become a bonafied member of that group or band for that period of time for which they have been engaged.
So over time. Alan, Cliff, Mark and Warren have all been or are "Shadows". Times change, band members change.
Individual opinions as to who should be included should be just that, your individual opinion. it is not necessary to share it with others, nor debate it.
It should also be remembered that these individuals, are friends not just band members. No one has the right to say who your friends should be, think about it.
This band, regardless of who were members at the time. Have produced some of the best instrumental music of all time, they have brought people together through their shared love of music, and their distinctive sound that so many of us try to emulate.
So lets just say, Thankyou. To all the members of the Shadows through the years, that have given us such wonderful music to enjoy.
If you read this Warren. Many thanks, to all of you.
