Agreed it does look like HM but how likely is it? Were the Shads appearing in Blackpool at that time? Was there snyone else on the bill that night sporting the "Buddy Holly" look, it was pretty popular among young guitarists!

100% likely.

Yes. Cliff Richard and The Shadows were doing the summer season at the same theatre (the ABC). Sunday was the show's night off and other acts performed one-night-stands on that day of the week.

Cliff & the Shads performed their "Holiday Carnival" programme at the Blackpool ABC from 31.05. until 21.09.1963 (no shows on Sundays). Thus Hank was there at this time.
