I recall the TVS team demo was made with Top Boost channel the bass and treble all the way up and cut pretty much all the way as well. This gives a nasal sound and they also sais that the melody on bridge was EQ like this but the muted sections were a different EQ setting. Some compression is added as well as the needed studio EQ to get the sound.
