Interesting picture. The guitarist in the background - Dennis Newey?

What is the mystery guitar that Jet is playing?

That's a final-version Vox Consort, distinctive for the slightly Jazzmaster-ish body shape and the Hank B Marvin tremolo tailpiece. The similar Soundcaster had a body which was a bit less offset and a bit more Strat-ish, as well as a one-piece (knife-edge) bridge-trem which was more like that of the Stratocaster for which the model was styled.

I'm sure the guitarist with the Bigsby-equipped 335 is Billy Kuy.

Whoever he is, he appears to be wearing Bruce's Scandinavian sweater!

Could the guy in the sweater be Duffy Power?

Hmmm... I've seen that picture before and someone did comment on the identity of the mystery man in the sweater, but I can't recall the details.

IIRC, the picture comes from the 1961 Scandinavian tour and the guest player was one of the locals.

Sorry for any thread drift, but this interesting UK picture illustrates the differences between the (quite similar) quality Vox guitars of the mid-1960s, the Consort and the Soundcaster, as well as providing an action shot of both in conjunction with a "Symphonic Bass".

The easiest distinction between the Consort and the Soundcaster (apart from the body shape, which IS different) is the bridge/tailpiece combination, with the Consort (essentially a re-shaped Phantom) being equipped with the HBM tremolo tailpiece á la Bigsby and the Soundcaster having a compact knife-edge unit more like that on a Strat.
