Ordered mine last night.
I take it Hank recorded his part separately in Perth and was added on back in the UK?

You greatly overestimate our power, Mr V.
I suspect you don't overestimate this record, however :D

PS - I now know that you don't.

This is such a classy record - oozing quality. A great composer, superb arrangements, meticulous production and top-of-the-range playing by the assembled musicians. Wow!

The Appointment is absolutely beautiful. Hank, Bruce, Brian and Mark. Plus, the strings.
Pure class.
All in all, outstanding musicians making an outstanding record.
Superb!
p.s. my favourite track is The Ipcress File. I love the drums (brushes) on it. There's only one BB! The Guv'nor!
Many thanks to Brian and Warren for doing this.

Agreed. All the surviving Shadows appear. Brian is on every track, Hank and Bruce play on The Appointment and Licorice on Midnight Cowboy.

Warren is everywhere, both playing and behind the scenes. Other associated musicians include Mark Griffiths contributing not only solid, stylish electric bass but also magnificent lead guitar work, Dave Richmond playing double bass on three tracks and a number of other players, less well-known on this site but all top-notch performers.

I'm certainly enjoying my copy and it becomes more rewarding with each spin.
Hank's playing and feel on The Appointment is superb.
I think The Ipcress File is Warren's Vibratos recording from The Ghost of Old Compton Street album with added instrumentation.
