Hi Mike,
Sorry to say that we are not having the meeting in Hull this year. As you know we have been for quite a few years to the Goodfellowship Inn where we entertain all for free. One of our members who lives in Hull arranges this with the Inn . However this year they wish to charge an excessive amount for us to hold the free music event for all to enjoy. The folk who come along spend copious amounts of money on food and drink there . It amazes me that they will pay for musical entertainment but yet don't want any for free.
Sorry to disappoint, please pass on our best wishes to those who normally come along.

You could always try the Springhead Inn, Wolfreton Road, Anlaby, Hull They have a stage and are live music friendly. They also have a large car park and, I believe, do food. You may also wish to consider trying The Highway, Willerby Road, Hull who are also live music friendly and have an upstairs function room.
