Lakeside Shadows Weekend 2016

Hi everyone, has anyone got any clue or whisper of the possibility of Lakeside putting on the Event this year ?

I was contacted a month ago from someone at lakeside asking if i would be exhibiting again this year at the shadows event so i presume it is on, she also said there is something special happening but didnt say what how intriguing.
So i will be there again this year if it is on with my big Vinyl and memorabilia stall with loads of Cliff and the shadows items including film posters, demo records, sheet music, photos, signed items, and some one offs, so look out for my stall out the back, you cannot miss it its the largest one there.

I wish somebody would make a public announcement soon. Details for this event used to be released mid-March. People have to plan ahead and many travel from other countries. It would be nice to know one way or another

from what i have heard it is being discussed at a meeting this next week or so as they are unsure whether to put it on due to falling attendances.

At the beginning of February we too were asked if we would be interested in attending Lakeside in September (as we had done since 1998) and of course we said yes. We have since been in touch with them suggesting various groups but have heard nothing from them since with a definite date. Tried to contact them again yesterday but no-one there so had to leave a message asking for a return call. We'll follow through though as we did point out that fans who came from overseas had to make arrangements. Hope it does continue as it was a great social event and good to meet up with customers personally that we have known for many years. If we hear anything we will certainly post it to you.
