MYSTERY TUNE ON THE BBC NEWS

Postby Stratpicker » 15 Jul 2016, 11:48

This piece of (possibly library) music is running on a BBC News insert this morning about the TTIP negotiations between the USA and the EU (boring!).
However - the music is a lovely Gypsy Jazzy thing with (possibly) and archtop playing a little solo 'diddle' in the middle.
Anyone know the title and the ArTistes, please??
Very Hank GJ or maybe Gary Taylor or Warren and Co – any ideas, gang?
Ian

Unfortunately I can't listen too anything on Box, Ian, as Firefox says the website is insecure. I always get this warning when trying to access a Box link:

The owner of app.box.com has configured their web site improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this web site.

Try it here (no, I don't recognise it, but perhaps Shazam will):

HI Jim

Shazam doesn't recognise it. It must be Library Music

Chuckle Ian!

Nice piece of music, but if Hank had been involved, there'd have been many more bent notes.

Cheers. Richard

Hi Ian

Do you know which News programme it was on (i.e. was it BBC Breakfast or just randomly featured on the News channel)? If I can find the specific programme then I can get details of what rights they cleared for the music.

It's also available online here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36803444

Thanks

Matt

On that link its the item on the upper left - "TTIP - why talks take that long". Runs 1.m30 ish with STs for some reason and no dialogue but the music is great!!

Shazam doesn't recognise it. Probably a non-commercial track.
