For that matter anyone know what is the instrumental version of Summer Holiday on Chris Evans' radio 2 show he is using behind some banality or other?

Indeed! Did you see that programme where Krishnan Guru-Murthy was a guest (Have I Got News For You? perhaps) and the panel discussed the theme. They concluded that the words for the 4-note logo were "Here's Some News". All very silly, and fun.
