Hank on Vintage TV

Did anyone see Hank being interviewed for a show called 'Needle Time' on Vintage TV on Thursday night? Quite a good interview as always and Hank's looking good.
I forgot to mention it on here i'm afraid.

Hello Roy,
If memory serves me rightly that interview and show was actually from a couple of years ago or so.
I'm sure it was first shown at the time that Hank was over here promoting one of his albums... possibly the 'Hank' album?
If I'm thinking of the same show, did Hank by any chance select a few of his favourite tracks which were then played?

I think it was from 2 years ago because he was talking about his new album (Hank) but i don't recall seeing it before.
Hank must be sick to the back of his teeth of being asked time and time again why he got the Strat, how he met cliff and how Apache came about.
Interestingly, he said that he doesn't consider Bruce his a pal, he said he does see him if he's ever in the country but he said that they've been through so much ups and downs over the years he considers him a colleague now. He's closer to Cliff now.

Yes it's old footage, at least two years old.

Hank referred to Bruce as "My colleague in The Shadows" in a Radio 1 documentary called It Was In Tune When I Bought It from around 1979. I remember thinking at the time that 'colleague' was a strange word to use. Pete Townshend was also on the programme.

Is there any way to access the Vintage interview on the internet?

"It Was In Tune When I Bought It" is actually quite topical for this weekend... it was first broadcast (it has since been repeated) on August Bank Holiday Monday, 1980.
