NORTH NOTTS CLUB CHRISTMAS BASH Sunday 18th December.

Postby pjr » 12 Dec 2016, 22:58

Hi folks,
Here's your reminder for the next North Notts meeting on Sunday 18th December at the usual venue.
So if you fancy getting the festive season off to a great start, we hope to see you there for some good ol' Xmas plank-spankin' :D
Feel free to come dressed in festive clothing if you like and please park your sleighs neatly.
And as it's Christmas I've instructed R. Lass to spend an extra £1.50 on the raffle prizes (between them, not each! bah, humbug)

It may be that bass players will be a little thin on the ground for the meeting so if you do play some bass it would be great to have you there.

On a more serious note I would like to say a big thank you to all who have supported the club throughout the year
and have been kind enough to help me out with the running of the meetings - it's a fact that I couldn't do it all on my own even if I tried.

Merry Christmas to all,

Pete

Strange custom you North Notts lot have giving people a Yuletide beating. I suppose it gets somewhat grimmer at Easter.

Excellent start to Christmas at the final end of year bash, at North Notts, with the club at 75 to 80% capacity (very good attendance for this time of year).
As usual many thanks to Pete and team (Laura, Mike et al.) for all the hard work today (and throughout the year) in providing us with an excellent, relaxing, friendly environment to play and listen to the music we thoroughly enjoy.
It's always very pleasant to talk with so many friendly people at these meetings, some of whom have attended since the club was first started by Pete quite a number of years ago.
Long may the club continue to be successful.

Best wishes

Tony

Thanks for those kind words Tony.
It was a great day certainly and enjoyed by all I believe. It was very good to see some old faces return to the club
along with some first timers - hope you enjoyed your visit!

Again, thanks to everyone involved for their help throughout the year and to all the members for making it such a great club.

Season's greetings to all,

Pete and R. Lass
