Happy New Year to you all!
Contrary to the many UK press reports (none of which have been via an interview with me as I am on holiday) I have no plans to perform along with The Shadows in 2017. As I said, tongue in cheek, at my 75th Birthday concerts - perhaps when we are all 100!
I look forward to seeing many of you at my Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll tour this June/July.

He has not said it will never happen but it clearly quashes the current rumour which the press should not have published.

As usual the press jump on one little comment that shouldn't have been published but i still live in hope for 2018, he wouldn't announce it anyway until the contracts were signed and sealed.

Isn't "Never say never" code for "It's not going to happen but please stop asking me/us when it is going to happen all the time." By 2018/2019 they'll be getting on for 80!

It sounds to me as if the media just made that one up, on a slow news day...Cliff says in his message that he wasnt interviewed etc..
